In the Handicap Plate Cup final, the Division 2A Marsh United A team of Glyn Normanton (13), Garry Jowett (13) and Alan West (26) were conceding a team total of 126 handicap points to the Division 2B Elland TTC team of Steve Evans (30), Babak Arjomand (37) and James Hodgson (27). Evans and Hodgson were able to gain an advantage with their handicaps and with the help of Arjomand on a handicap of 37, Elland TTC won by a nett 48 points to give them consolation for their defeat in last year’s Trophy final.
